Got My Title pt. II

About two months ago, I finally got my truck paid off. I was ecstatic about it and my wife joked that with my luck, something would happen to it that would really piss me off. Little did I know it would be HER!

She's used to driving her Honda Element. She pulls up next to the mailbox to get the mail, then turns right into the driveway. With my longer truck, she made a shallow turn and SCREEEEEEEEEECH!!!! I asked her if she heard the noise and she said she wasn't sure of what it was until she got in the driveway. Unbelievable! Now I have to get estimates on how much it'll cost to fix!

Texas is regarded as pretty liberal with application of the death penalty. Is that an option?

Ouch...that sucks...Amazing how some people just really don't pay attention to what they're doing while they're driving. At least my fiancee` errs on the side of caution when she's driving the truck...

Well... I was actually implying that it was for the wife, but I see your point.

Your response to this incident, like most other things in life, should be measured by several factors:

1. How pretty/hot is she? (The wife, not the truck, just to be clear.)

2. How much money does she make?

3. How much crap does she give you on a regular basis?

Being that every person's life is unique you may think of other factors that I didn't list here. Think it over, then put forth whatever punishment you deem appropriate.

Such as:

Guilt trip her until this time next year.

Be sure to tell all friends and family members (including her family) what she did, you may want to print some pictures to carry with you.

Be creative, use your imagination. You know her better than probably anyone else in this world, so use it against her. :P

:cool::cool:

But seriously though, just grin and bear it. After all, no vehicle could ever come close to the love and devotion you share.

(((I'd still make her pay for anything the insurance doesn't cover)))

Here is a good compromise: you pay for a new mailbox, and she pays for a new truck (well, at least for the old truck repairs).

Thats about what happened to my truck. My son did not park my truck where I normally do, my wife who had broken her ankle the weekend before and was getting around on crutches, she was late for a meeting and went out side to leave with her head down and never looked up!! In the truck she went never looking back left out after moving the back of my truck about 5 foot!!! :P

Well, today I took her(the truck!) to my regular body shop. Come to think of it, it's not good to have a regular body shop! Anyways, they quoted me just under $450 to get it done. I would go through my insurance, but it's not worth the hassle especially since they're just looking for reasons to raise the rates around here.

I won't rib my wife too much over it. We were high school sweethearts, been married for 16+ years and she's a saint for having to put up with me! Besides, that $450 was a little bit more than my regular truck payment so I can eat the cost.
