Okay so i am trying to build what i would like my '07 to look like...configure options and such.

But for some reason it is only giving me the crew cab option and a short box. It doesn't show me where or what to click on to change to extended cab regular box or whatever.

Not sure if explorer isn't rendering it or if the site is jacked up. GMC site was giving me a like problem.

I've found the same thing, GMbuypower.com must just be slow to get updated as usual, it is getting old. I have even seen new extended cabs on carriers going down the highway and even on ebay on a dealer lot. I thought I even saw a new regular cab on a carrier (it looked like a long bed W/T). I agree it would be nice to see what sorta sticker price we are looking at, COME ON GMBUYPOWER  !!!

On a side note, I did drive a new crew cab 4wd, let me tell ya that this is like floating on a cloud of :P , rides better than my 2004 Cadillac Deville DTS!

I think the reason that you can't build one yet is because they havent hit the lots yet. GM hasn't released regular cab trucks. Don't remember when they are supose to be hittin the lots but if I remeber correctly is should be some time shortly after the first of the year. First the crew, then extended and finally regular cabs. Could be wrong on the time frame though.

Use Chrome Car Book.

You can't get to it directly, but you can find it provided as a service at Credit Unions and similar places.

My favorite is www.IBMSECU.com (IBM Southeast Credit Union) because it's easy to remember and thier data goes back a few years. Look under services and then find Chrom Car Book. I've even used the RPO codes from a used vehicle on eBay to reconstruct the sticker price.

Play with it a little while and you'll see it shows all of the manufacturer's options and pricing including MSRP and Invoice. You can even get technical specifications and it'll calculate the curb-weight as configured assuming GM has published the information.

I usually start with Crome Car Book and the use GMBuyPower to search dealers inventory.
