2000 Z71 Problems

Ok I have 2 issues that I hope somebody can help me out with.

#1 I am hearing the sound of water splashing around over on the passenger side of the cab. I still have heat and the floor is not wet and I don't smell antifreeze and sometimes when I park the truck I see water dripping out from just under the passenger side of the truck. It is clear water but I can't see where it is comming from.

 

#2 I m getting a squeek from the air conditioner belt.I have changed the belt and changed the tencioner and still I get the squeek.I have tried belt dressing and it made it worse please help.

For item 1 I have no clue.

 

For item 2, I had the same problem with my 2000 S-10 (V6). I also tried a new belt and tensioner and the squeak remained. I also made the mistake of trying the belt dressing and it also made the squeak much worse.

 

Turns out the squeak was in the AC pulley/clutch. I opted not to fix it as it was just a noise and I was trading in the truck on a new Sierra. I did spray some silicone in and around the A/C pulley clutch and that would quiet things done for a while, long enough for the dealership not to hear the noise.
