How many guys we got on here?

I was just thinking how neat it would be to have a t-shirt with that logo on it. I was talkin' to a buddy of mine that has a pretty successful t-shirt gig, but he was sayin' he wouldn't be able to use the bow-tie logo because of copy rights and what not.

Anyone got any ideas?

man i JUST turned 100,000 in my 1991, but thats because it sat for a long time before it became mine

how about a shirt that says just '200,000' on the shirt, and on the back, it says 'CHEVY 200,000 MILE CLUB'

I love shirts that are, say, black, with white text, that are reallly simple like that , no pictures needed

Yea, I feel you on the simplicity. I was just looking to use the logo. Maybe I'll shoot Chevy an email. I bet tehy could probably make a killing off them.

The problem with the word 'Chevy' is that I've seen 3 GMC's (2 are my dad's, one is mine) reach 200k, and one GMC reach 300k...I've never seen a bowtie that has gotten that far.....

If chevy was smart they should tell people, take a picture of your gauge cluster with 200,000+ miles. Send it into chevy and they will GIVE you a Tshirt with that cool "200000 Mile Club" emblem on it.

I mean, thats advertisement that would kick butt. I bet the competition would love seeing people walking around with 200,000 mile club shirts on. I would wear one with honour. And i think many chev fans would do also... it would be a real nice way to advertise your trucks!

Hey if you bought the truck from Chevrolet, and drove it 200,000 miles chevy should salute you with a tshirt!

Edit:

oh i didnt notice they give you a bumper sticker for 200,000 miles, i guess thats alright, i think a tshirt would be cooler.

1,000,000 miles you get a plaque..... thats a lot of miles!

I've got the sticker.

Yea...I too sport the sticker on my back glass. T-shirt be neat too though.

How you been Marshall, hadn't seen you around here in a while?

Yes a shirt would be cool... but everyday when Im in front of an F150 I like to know that the sticker is there.

I have been around, doing good. Haven't been able to visit here as much since I got in the last half of college... 8 months left...

I feel that. I got a couple years left :D but it keeps me busy as hell. We're gettin' ready to start back up on the 16th.

Yea I have to hang on to my 94 for a while longer (although I never have intentions of getting rid of it ever) only because my friend in high school had an f-150 that went to 235,000 before its demise.

Yea man, most definitely. I'd really like to put mine back the way it was when it was new. Cept...maybe a 7.4L crate motor or something. 1994 is one of my favorite years because you get the new front end and the somewhat vintage lookin' dash. My frame is a little kinked so I'd probably have to have it straightened out, or maybe even find a donor frame.

I've gotta buddy with an 88' 4 Runner with about 240k. I'm chasing him too. I gotta say man, those old 4 Runners are pretty slick with the removable canopy.

I always feel kinda funny wanting to restore a 1994, but the way I see it is that the guys who owned the 1970s had no idea they were gonna be classics. Why not the 94. Plus it was the only year for the unique dash with new front clip. I do hate all the plastic on the grille though. I envisioned someone fabricating me a chrome grille. I think that would be slicker than cat puke.
