After months of looking and driving all over for the perfect used HD. I broke down, used my supplier discount and bought a new one.

2002 Siverado 2500 HD 4x4 LS ext. cab 8.1 ally charcoal grey metallic.

I'm definetly in need of some BFG's. We've gotten some snow here in the last couple of days and yesterday on my way to work I came real close to meeting that big moderator in the sky :0 . I pulled out to pass a car ( real easy like ) at about 55 when the rear end broke loose and the show was on.

I got completely sideways 3 times before giving it a little juice and straightening it out.

Talk about a rush. I felt like I was on the back stetch at Talladega and had gotten a tap from behind. I bought the truck on valentine's day and have 1100 miles on it already. Thats for sure been the biggest thrill so far

I don't know, I've grown used to the A$$ end breaking loose and driving sideways. It used to scare me half to death, but now when it happens I just crank the wheel into the slide and my heart rate doesn't even increase. It sure scares the passengers though.

Welcome fellow BIG BLOCK owner!!!!

I too have come to expect the @$$ end to break loose with my 8.1L on slick roads. Now I just got to keep it under control on dry pavement so I don't ruin the new tires!! It was fun to destroy the old ones though!!!
