Removing 5th wheel bracket - bedliner gap?

Just bought a 2500HD that has the 5th wheel brackets still mounted to the floor of the bed. The previous owner had a spray-in bedliner applied around the brackets so when I remove them, I'll have two long strips that aren't "lined".

 

I'm considering either just putting a drop-in liner in since the majority of the bed has already been sprayed or applying some of the "roll on" bedliner material to these two spots. Has anyone had any succes with it and does it adhere to the existing spray-in liner? Thanks!
