Find in a junkyard a truck that caught fire so that you know nothing bad happened. Alternatively you may be able to get yours streightened and rebalanced. Lindskog Balance will do an increadible job. They are located in Boxborough at 1170 Mass Ave. Look up their 800 number, I do not want to post it to keep the spam-bots clear. You will not be sorry if you have him do the work.

Mine was bent. At first I replaced all the ujoints and the carrier bearing, didn't fix it. I had the driveshaft balanced and the guy said it was bent so he worked on it and made it better but still not what it should be so he gave it to another shop since he injured his hand and now its smooth. They don't have to be too far out to cause a vibration but also look at your carrier bearing and U joints because when they go you'll get a pretty good vibration as well.
