Airbags going off randomly?

Did anybody see in the March issue of FourWheeler where they were testing the new GMC Sierra, and while driving at 5 mph on a side slope in the sand the airbags just deployed on their own?? Geez... Looks like a bug that GM will definitely have to get worked out ASAP.

What's up with airbags? There have been SO many recalls on airbag sensors it's not even funny. Toyota recently had a large batch of vehicles recalled for something similar. It seems like all mfgs are having problems with this, the must all use the same supplier???

I hope it's an isolated incident. Mine is regularly off-road in precarious positions and nothing has happened in 5000 miles so far.

 

That would scare the u know what out of me if it did
