How many of you guys watch the dog whisper? I absolutely love how he knows how to fix every problem and no problem is too big for him.

His advice is not only applicable to dogs, but to humans as well. Teaches us how to be more confident and forceful.

What do you guys think?

I love his show. I need him to come teach my dog a thing or two. My dog if afraid of jumping out of my truck. She will fight me when I try and pick her up out of the truck. Some of his shows I cant really tell what he even does to make these dogs better, he just does it.

It's not the dog that needs to be fixed it's the owner who needs to learn how to work with the dog properly to overcome the issues. He helps rehab dogs by training the owner to learn why dogs do what they do. We have used several of his techniques to make our situation better - we have three german shepherds with two dominant females. We discovered it was my wife and I that were making the situation difficult not the dogs. Dogs only do what is natural to them and we as owners need to learn why they do those things and work with them. If you notice the single biggest problem that he faces on his show is people treating and trying to solve theor issues as if the dog is human. Dogs see humans as another dog - most people see dogs as humans and try to solve their issues the way they would with another human - doesn't work hence their needing Caesar. Read his book and it will give you a lot more insight than the show does.

It amuses me how it always ends up that it wasn't the dog's fault at it, it was just the owner's secret fear of this or that that was in turn sending negative energy waves to the dog causing it to malfunction.
