gjt28 Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 I have been hearing a sloshing water sound lately that seems to be under the dashboard on the drivers side after a rainfall. It can be heard mostly after applying the brakes hard while in reverse as the abrupt stop causes the trapped water to slosh around. Thats how i first noticed it. I have no water leaking into the cab however so it must be trapped in the cowl area. Now, I have noticed that after a day or so following a rain there is water still dripping out from the bottom of thr fender right behind the drivers side wheel well and eventually stops. This seems to be a long time for water runoff from rain and i cannot see anything that is clogged . Is this slow drainage normal? Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thanks
95Sierra2500 Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 This could be water getting inside your HVAC box (perhaps a bad inlet door), and your drain could be plugged. That's what it sounds like to me, but why you'd have THAT much water in there is strange. I'm just saying it's a possiblity.
