ZZebes Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Well i went and bought shelving for work today and my boss neglected to tell me how much there was and when i got there i was greeted with 8 shelving units at 300lbs a piece plus pallets. so an nice even 2500lbs so i loaded it and to my suprise the truck didn't squat all that much at all. and drove suprisingly well with 3.23's
Wingnut Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Squatting truck thread! That's a good looking truck man...I like those wheels more every time I see them
ZZebes Posted January 29, 2007 Author Posted January 29, 2007 thanks man, I want the big brake kit but i have to change wheels and i want a lift but i have to change the wheels so no big brakes or lift
Black02Silverado Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 If only I had taken pictures of my truck full of dirt. Many a trip with it riding on the rubber bump stops against the differential. Thank goodness for 8 ply tires.
asilverblazer Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 There was a really fat kid in the bed that I chopped out.
95Sierra2500 Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I don't have any pictures of them, but my granddad owns a farm and CONSTANTLY loads his half-ton, 2wd trucks (never wanted a 4x4) to the rubber bump stops...never had a spring failure yet. My dad's 1-ton trucks never seem to get past the helper springs...even with 3 tons in the bed.
Giant Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I don't have any pictures of my trucks loaded down. But this thread reminded me of something I saw on another board. After searching online I found this. Loaded car from home depot The page reports this as true. I'm not sure anyone in their right mind would allow somone to do this, but you never know. -Cheers-
