need a good 3"-4" Lift

Ok...i'm considering cranking my tbars, but in about 6 months i'll be looking to get a lift. I need a moderate lift because my wife will complain if she can't get in... :chevrolet:

anyway, I looked at skyjacker 4" suspension and it's like $1100 dollars...rancho 4" is like $1300. I would prefer suspension because they look better (no frame showing and no relocating of bumpers, etc.) but they are so much more expensive! Maybe someone can point me in the direction of a good lift that's cheap ($ wise, not build-wise) or convince be of a good body lift...

for some reason the words "body lift" just make me cringe... :troll:

This is two threads you've started asking on advice on modifying your vehicle.

Here's a hint.

Post what kind of vehicle you have FIRST.

Matter of fact, you may want to just put it in your signature (or in that place under your name, set in the "My Controls" area...That way people don't have to ask.

It says Fabtech shocks and springs.

oops :chevrolet: forgot to look at the left...i guess he has the fabtech 3" lift (but only at 2")...i would put it at the full 3" but i'm not sure which size tires I want to run...something just a TAD bigger than what he has...

See...I notice alot of people around here run smaller tires on lifts than we do in the south.

I see trucks with 4" of suspension lift with only 33". With 4" we run at least a 35" maybe bigger on a 10 wide rim.

how wide is the stock 17in rim b/c i planned on doing a small lift with bigger tires but keeping the stock rims. I don't want the total custom look, but rather the "just past" stock look...kind of conservative...

if you look at 4wheelparts they have a tire fitment guide, http://www.4wheelparts.com/CT13.aspx#

so you can match up your ride with what size tires you wanna run and what type of set up you'll need to run those tires

Also i got all my lift work done at the 4wheelparts in ft. worth and they have excellent customer service and they do awesome work, so i would search for a 4wheelparts closest to you and check them out they wont steer you wrong

It's too bad Old Man Emu doesn't make one for trucks. I had one on my Jeep and the 2.5" lift and improved ride was pretty much perfect.
