every thing was fine until I used Lucas fuel treatment.... now when ever I hit the gas, ie. take off from an intersection or go to make a pass, my truck seems to bog out until I let off and then re-apply the throttle slowly. any ideas? could the gas treatment have clogged my fuel filter and that be causing pressure loss??? help if you can

Thanks in advance ~ Jeremy from Vegas

It shouldn't have. I use the stuff all the time and have noticed a good improvement in how my vehicles perform. The only reason I can think of that you would be having a problem is if you used too MUCH...I don't have the bottle in front of me but like 2-4 ounces treats 20 or 30 gallons of gas...If you used more than that then you might be getting too much at once. My fiancee`'s granddad put Drygas in his truck (like a gallon of it) and got a slug of nothing but it...and stalled his truck out. Finally by hooking it up to a booster and just trying and trying to start it we got good fuel again and it ran like a champ. He'll probably never use Drygas again.
