Ported & Polished Throttle Body ???

Looking to have my stock throttle body ported and polished. Been told not to waste the money on the granatelli stuff. Anyone know where or who does this stuff. Just lookin for a little more. "men and their toys"

I polished out the one I had on the `97 1500, noticed no gains. It looked cool though.

I had a ported tb thrown on my 485bhp C5 corvette and it didn't show a single hp gain on the dyno in back to back testing. I wouldn't waste your time or money on doing it for your truck, there are many things that need to be done before the tb becomes a restriction. If you want quick hp/tq gains for decent money...a cam is one of your best options, way better than headers, exhaust, intake, etc.

The ported TB may not show much/any HP gains, but you should see a better throttle response. It was good on my '04 GTO. Plus, it sounded cooler. You can do it yourself if you have a dremel, or similar. To polish it, just go to progressively finer grain sand papers.
