part number for a case of oil filters

Howdy gang. Just came back from Pep Boys and picked up the AC Delco PF 454 oil filter for my '06 2500HD 8100.

 

Does anybody know if I can order (from GM Performance site) a case of those filters? I had a case for the 4.8L motor (the ones that were slightly longer than stock) and got rid of that truck for my new one. That reminds me, I think I only used three or four from that case. If so, I ll let you all know and see if anybody wants the rest of them. Will know tomorrow when I go to the storage shed.

 

I also priced a Fram air fliter for the 8100. Yikes, just over $20. Huge filter too. I went down the next aisle and saw the K&N and Air Hog (from Fram) filters. I will be getting one of those two. Why spend twenty bucks every 6000 miles when I can spend roughly fifty that will last the rest of the truck??

 

Any preferences between the K&N filter and the Air Hog? Not looking at the air kit, just the filter.

 

One more question. What is the difference in Mobil 5W-30 (full synthetic) vs the Mobil Truck & SUV 5W-30 (full synthetic)? Prices are the same.
