Fuel Pressure Guage

I was thinking about installing a permanent fuel pressure guage in my 4.8L. Anyone install one and leave it there? If so, did you keep it close to the fuel rail or mount it in the truck? I am not sure I want it inside the cab with me because if it leaks, I get a blast of gas smell inside the truck. A friend of mine says there are fuel pressure guages that you can mount with the pressure regulator. Anyone done this yet?

Any info would be appreciated.

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
