Rent-a-Bay

Does anybody have or remember the places where you can rent a bay for 1/2 day or full day or whatever?

 

There was one in NJ, back in the mid 70's (Plainfield, NJ). For a rental fee, you had a closed bay with a full lift and full air. Bring your own tools and you were able to work on your truck or car.

 

Especially during the winter, these places were great.

 

I can do most of the work needed on my truck myself. I can't afford to pay the dealers and don't trust the locals.

 

Working on your truck in the driveway, in the cold gets old real quick. Don't know anyone with a garage big enough for my truck either.

 

I usally enjot the winter, this year, I can't wait for spring

This place is like the old "rent-a-bay" but with more of a focus on paint and bodywork including "how to" classes.
