for anyone who has installed drop spindles

I am about to purchase the DJM 2" drop SHACKLES and I had a few questions about the installation. Can it be done with just a wrench and socket or will I need an impact wrench? My truck only has 2000 miles (07 classic 1/2 ton rc) so the bolts shouldnt be seized too badly. Also will I hurt my ride any by staying with the stock shocks?

The top bolt through the bushing looks like its going to have to be raised above the frame to get the bolt through-is this how everyone else has done it?

What should I torque the bolts to? Thanks Brian

-sorry I labeled the title wrong :banghead:

You`ll need 1/2 drive sockets and rachet, maybe a breaker bar, maybe. You`ll need to lossen the hitch, drop both tires, jack the pumkin up, and loosen the bolts on one side at a time. Also, do only one side at a time, and not only for reference either. You`ll have to lower the jack to get the top bolts out, and lift again to put it all back together. Just takes about 1 hr, if you`ve done it before. They are easy. Just time comsuming while on your back. Drop the tires after lifting the truck, then support the frame with stands , for safety. Instructions should come with them. Follow them!
