Idle RPM

1999 GMC Yukon 2WD 5.7L

 

Is 500 RPM in Park normal? If that is low, does that indicate low fuel pressure? If it's low fuel pressure, does that point toward the fuel pump?

If you have low fuel pressure, you usually will have problems with high rpm operation, not at idle. Not to sure about your idle speed, but it seems about 150 rpm too low. Might check your I.A.C. system.
