99 gmc won't start

I got a 99 GMC Sierra, lost the keyless entry, had a key made. When I tried to start it, it wouldn't. I replaced the battery and it still wouldn't start. How do I tell if the problem is with the starter, solenoid, or is it the security system? It has power to all systems. Perplexed ?

When you try to start it does the security light flash.

2nd where did you have the key made at.

when starting the truck does it just crank, click once, or click a lot?

if it cranks and won't start chances are its a fuel pump.
