Continuous Play

I have a 2000 Jimmy and the stock stereo will continue to play for 10min after the car is turned off. If this a feature of the stereo itself, or will an after market stereo do this as well?

I would think any stereo you put in would do that, since it's the power going into the radio that is being controlled by the truck, not the radio itself controlling the power.

But I can't say for sure.

Buzzin you are correct, my aftermarket headunit continues to play, but I usually open my door at soon as I take my key out. If I am gonna sit there and listen I will turn the key back all the way so that only the cd player will work.

Until you open the doors, the windows will go down as well(at least my truck does). It has a time delay, 15 to 20 minutes I think.

Think about this, pulling into a full service gas station, shut the truck off, music still plays on and the windows work. But I don't want some $hit head 15 year old scratching the side of my truck, so I do it!!
