what's the best way to raise front end

I'm tired of looking at the front end slope on my 2005 2500 HD. I have stock tires/wheels and would like to level out the truck. I've heard that I need to be careful when doing this because it could cause alignment issues. What's the best way to level my truck without giving me future grief. thanks for any help.

There are TONS of posts on this subject. You can read/research yourself until your dizzy. I recently was trying to figure out the same thing..what's best for me w/ out screwing up the truck. I thought about a Ready Lift leveling kit, I looked at the Cognito Leveling Kit, researched the GM Green Keys etc. etc. I have a trusted mechanic at the local GM dealer and I mentioned it to him and he said they adjust the T-bars all the time. He didn't think twice about it. I just got new tires a few weeks back from them and had them adjust the bars at the same time. He told me he raised it about an inch on one side and an inch and a half on the other to level it side to side and front to back. I had them do an alignment too which I think is highly recommended after any type of adjustment to the t-bars.

I was really worried about ride quality so after he adjusted them, first I looked at the truck to see if I liked its new stance. I did. If I didn't think it looked level enough I was going to have them put in the green keys before doing the alignment. I thought it looked great though after adjusting the stock setup. Then I took it for a quick drive to make sure the ride wasn't drastically different. It felt pretty much just like it did before the change so I took it back and had him finish up w/ an alignment.

All-in-all I'm very happy with it and it cost me I think $30 or $35 for them to make the adjusment and about $70 for the alignment.
