Tire size for lowered trucks ???

I installed 2" drop shackles on my 07 classic and now i get a rubbing noise from under the bed, below the rear of the cab (reg cab). I hear it when I come to a stop or slow down quickly and sometimes when I go over bumps. I think it may be the rubber supports that hold the bed on the frame but Im not exactly sure. Im also not sure it is due to the 2" drop. I didn't install drop shocks. The truck has less than 4k miles on it. Anyone else have this problem? Any help is appreciated.

sounds like you may have the shackles to tight. what type are the shackles. some have the polyurethane bushing which if you do not lube when you installed could make a rubbing sound when the truck weight shifts forward or back. i would put a shot of wd40 on the leaf springs where ever they could rub and see if it went away. i also picked up a squeak in the rear of the cab below the drivers side and it ended up being rubber washers on the grounding strap between the frame and the cab. just a few things i've seen . lol, jd

I have a Squeak when I get in and out my truck and shut the doors sounds like it's either cab or the bed shifting. I was thinking for the longest it maybe the stock shocks in the rear I'm fixing to swap those out if I hear good things about the BellTech Nitro Drop 2 Shocks. If my problem is the same as your's with the squeak being a rubber washer on the grounding strap frame and cab what did you do to fix that problem shot some Wd40 in their and hope for the best?

Also stock height with 20" wheels and only installing Belltech 6400 Rear :Lowering shackles kit

I had my sisters husband tell me that I would need to install shrims on my truck since I lowered the rear to level with the front is that true?? said something like the transmission will be higher or lower then the shaft or something like that if i can remember right other person said I would know for sure If i start to eat up U-joints.

Question I have also having looking at leaf springs is I saw this and too me it looks like it's not right at all.

this is with stock height and just installing Belltech 6400 Rear Lowering Shackles kit installed and 20" wheels

But in this photo under in front the rear shock is that black rubber looking deal suppose to be that high up or should it be right on the rear end???
