Drop Shakels

Has anyone put these on their truck? If so, have you have problems with the shakels making noise?

i have DJM 2" drop shackles on my truck and they don't make any kind of noise at all.

Same here 2" drop shackles no noise no problems

Mine have Zerk Fittings to keep them from rubbing / binding, but they have never made a noise.

I wish I could say the same about the body mounts!

I was having a loud rubbing noise coming from the shakels. It was heard getting in and out of the truck and driving over any bumps. I took it in and the bolts were lubed real good and tighted while the truck was on the ground not on the lift. The noise seems to be gone and I was told the bolts were tightened before while it was on the lift which made them too tight so they made noise.

That is a feasible response. Most suspension tightening should be done with the vehicle on the ground.

ooops. then i guess i need to loosen my shackles, lift the truck and then tighten them on the ground. I did mine in the air and they are doing just fine....
