Will A 80's Cab Fit My 79?

I have a 1979 K10 with a cab that needs alot of TLC. My dad's friend has a cab from a 80's 3/4 ton thats in really nice shape. Would it be interchangeable with the one on my 79? I noticed where the fenders mount at the top is a little different and also the wiper mounts are different. anyone know?

as far as i can tell it would fit but you would have to switch the fenders hood cowl radiator support inner fenders and the like to make it work

ok so i found out today it will work without much hassle at all. My dads friend did it with his truck and it looks like the only modification he had to do was drill some holes to mount the wipers.

As for the fender mounts being different... the holes used to mount the fenders are in the same place, there are just extra on the 80's cab (i guess for the cowl).

Yes everything will fit with slight modification. Fenders, hood, rad support, etc. little different from 73-80 and 81-87, but cabs and doors never changed. So long as your frontend sheetmetal all stays the same your good to go.
