2003 1/2 ton Suburban

Programming Questions

1) kinda a long story but, bought a 2003-1500 Suburban to replace my 1995 std. cab L/B 454, munched on the front, needs a new frame, figure I am replacing the frame may as well upgrade to a 2500 (have a ton of NBS 2500 suspension any way so fairly straight forward)

except BRAKES.

1500 SUB has vacuum boost ( RPO [JC5] I think, that's from memory) I am going to upgrade the brakes to match what it would have had if it was a factory 2500, the complete 3/4 ton hydro- boost RPO [JH6] system, from the master cylinder right to the calipers, (including EBCM). I have all of the harness cross checked For the electronics side but for the ABS to work properly and not be spitting codes how difficult is it to upgrade the programming it it just a matter of a trip to the dealer for to change the RPO option in the ECM/PCM programing or a reflash with the RPO changes, so that every thing works like factory?

2) I am also going from the single front tank, to twin front and rear tanks (complete system) also from the 2500 suburban is it the same thing there? just adding the RPO (NQZ) option in the programing to activate it, so that Both tanks work like factory?

Pm or Email me if you need more info or Vin #'s, I have the one from the doner vehicle too for the RPO'S

Thanks in advance

when you call your dealer, first make sure you speak to someone who is "on the ball" for this one. whatever code can be prgramed in are gotten by the dealer calling gm. then they take the codes and load them in. only takes mins once they get the info.... i don t know which of your mods are capable of this..
