Clunking Sound Coming From Rear Of Truck

I have a 04' Sierra 2500HD 4x4 diesel automatic extra cab with 115k miles. Recently I have noticed a clunking sound/thud (I can also feel it) when I am just about to come to a stop. It also can happen when I am at a stop and I lift my foot off the brake. The only looseness I detect is where the Yoke enters into the transfer case. The shaft can move up and down about 1/8". There is no oil leak. The truck runs smoothly otherwise. Any ideas?

I brought my truck in for that about 3 months ago under warranty. It was the slip yoke. Mine would mainly do this on takeoff from a light. I will have to find the work order to remember exactly what they did and how they worded it.
