You sure like beating up on 800 owners. My guess is this classic lbz holds value better than your red-headed stepchild 4spd 900 does.

It doesn't matter what year your truck is if it looks like that and you got a LBZ for that price.

 

Congratulations, that is a good looking truck; and I have only heard good things about that diesel.

Congrats on the new ride!

 

Is Marine as easy to deal with as Moore in Jacksonville (that's where I got my truck)? I was in J-ville Friday on my way back from picking up my camper shell. Have you ever checked out www.dragslips.com? There are a bunch of people form the J-ville area on there (specifically Coastal Carolina F-body).

Hey Tommy,

 

Congratulations. Your truck looks great and my heartfelt wishes for a zillion troublefree miles.

 

My 800 is just one year old and I have experienced ZERO problems with it. The truck is perfect in every way, which is the benefit of buying a time-proven body and an engine that has evolved.

I just bought my Classic 2500 on Wednesday....I looked at the only NEW 4x2 on the lot and it was fire engine red...I told the salesman if I wanted something that RED, I would buy a firetruck.....ha

 

Serviously, I got an extra $3200 rebate and I really like the Classic body...the new one is great, too, and real aggressive looking. But I sure don't think the classic is 90s looking...

 

Besides, I cannot tell what it looks like from inside. I am an old Ford guy that make the switch and am very very happy....glad I found this forum...it is great///
