This is just a little story of what happen to me today. I was on a job site a few days ago doing what I do and overheard a couple of guys talking about their trucks and the mods they have done to them. I added a few comments to the mix. To my surprise I must have said something to upset one of them and it became a my truck can beat your truck rant. I stood there as this guy talked big about his Ford and how fast it was. He also added a list of guys he had outrun and how he was the fastest in the county. So I said maybe I will see ya on the road Big Boy, to which I am sure made him madder Now as for my truck it is pretty much a stock 5.3L nothing crazy going on yet. I found my self back in the area today in my truck and came across Ol Big Boy in his F250 powerstroke . I never told this guy my truck would take him I just listen to his rant and egged him on a little. So I pulled in where he was at and waved a hand. I guess he was happy to see me. He made his way to my truck and ask me if we where going to run them. I felt like a little fun so..... I waited for him to get into his truck so I could follow him to the place up the road. After the 2nd time he tried to get his truck to start I started to feel good about my chances This super truck of his had Banks Powered on the side and a scoop on the hood and stickers of the stuff he had shoved it to this thing. On the 3rd try the truck came to life sort of... I asked him if he still wanted to do it as I could see the truck was having 2nd 3rd and 4th thoughts about the whole thing and the look on his face was pretty sad. It's at this point that I think I should have just driven off but no not me Up the road and to a nice straight line Mr Cranky to my left truck now running almost smooth. A friend of his started the whole thing off old movie style. I jumped on it and the ol girl took off just as good as a stock pcm will let her. Ol Cranky jumped on his and after a few seconds of what sounded like his engine asking if it could go home he continued to get smaller in my mirror Boy that felt good! Now I know it was unfair cause his truck was only a 1/3 of what he said it was, but I never told him to shoot his mouth off. Anyways just a little fun I had.

i agree! those ford guys like to talk allot of stuff about us real truck owners too, i dont really get it, ford have always been known to be sluggish and guttless... so why they feel they can put us chevy guys to shame still has me baffled!
