Well I want to buy an addon for my truck, and all of these cost about the same, so help me decide which i should get.

Im leaning toward the spray in liner, cause all i have now is a mat.

Dang, tough choice. I voted for the spray liner, but I did both the liner and bars on mine. The tune needs to wait for a little while.

I agree with GeoHawk, I would wait until the truck's been broken in before getting a tune. Break-in mileage is debatable, but IMO it's 10-15k miles at a minimum.

IMO get the spray-in liner, then nerf bars next. I'm sure you'll find other goodies you'll want while waiting for the tune (window vents, hood-deflector, tonneau cover, etc.).

Mine came with the GM bed liner installed, but I think a spray in liner would be ideal and a great start......

Voted for nerf bars, as last week I managed to slide off of a two-track that was washed out (mini sink hole) and put a couple nice scuffs in the paint job courtesy of some trees. Nerf bars would have probably prevented the scuffs (as they protrude out slightly from the body) and a rather costly estimate. Needless to say, as soon as I get the paint redone I'm throwing a set on.

personally i voted tuner, although maybe not so much necessary but there's always drop-in liners. yea stuff slides around sometimes but i wouldnt pay the money myself for a spray in unless i had money exploding from my pockets

Think about the functionality of a spray in liner for a moment. Who cares if you have you're truck for a 100k miles and the bed is scratched to pieces. Whenever you decide to do a spray in it's like brand new once again. It's not like you're protecting you're bed with a spray in. I plan on letting it get scratched and whenever i get around to it i may spray it. The Pcm Tune on the other hand will make a huge difference in the entire driveability of you're truck. It won't bog down after a upshift, more power, better fuel milage. Today Me and the family went to get our passports done for a upcoming trip so i had a chance to drive my dads 6.2 denali which i haven't driven in quiet a while. I have gotten used to my tuned 6.0 shifting firmly and having the TM removed. The denali felt way less powerful, not because it has less power but because it fell on it's face after shifts compared to my truck. My truck did the same before the tune but i've gotten used to the firm upshifts and faster accleration now, so it was nice to drive another stock GM to remind me how horridly crappy TM is. I also averaged my interstate mpg on the way back and got 17.4 mpg. Had a client come look at some land today hauling a trailer so i also measured my Highway mpg 55-60 and averaged 19mph on a 40mile trip. This is with 33" tires and no front airdam, so it would be better. Before the tune it was around 15interstate 17 highway. I've put about 6k miles since the tune and have loved every mile.

What kinda tune do you have? PCM replacement right?

If i go for a tuner i'll probably get the Diablo Sport Predator.

I had my tune done by allen nelson aka nelsonperformance.com. I had mine done in person, but he mainly does mail order tunes.

i would definately buy the bedliner, i really dislike nerf bars, they take too much ground clearance away. i would do the liner then tune, then just forget about the steps. :tear:

I voted for the bed liner. Even though I don't care in the least if the bed gets banged up (I don't have one), I do think that they add a nice finished look to the bed of a truck.
