First A big thanks To Eilene at Wester's Garage for getting me my goods so fast after the bad storms they had up in Alberta. I replaced my westers tune with the stock computer due to trading in for the Big Block 496 After doing the pass key relearn the truck would not start, but the security light would not flash any more. I thought unhooking the battery again would put me a step one, but after hooking it back up the truck started right up. Just a note to anyone having this minor problem.

I just ordered a Westers pcm tune for my 06... Did you have to do a crank relearn?? How did you like the Westers programming??

I love my Westers tune. I never experianced any other but after talking to lyndon a few times and him ansewering my questions he sold me on his. I picked up my 05 with the 8.1 and the ally 5 speed today, stock is unreal power, I can only imagine what the tune will do to it, that thing flat out gets it now. I have the new tune waitimg for my in my garage when I get to it.

Oh and to ansewer your questing, yes I had to do the crank relearn, on the new tune and putting the stock computer back in, and so will you. If youdon't you will have to put up with the service engine light flashing all the time, I suggest having it done, My local dealer put it to me for the tune of $65 to do a 5 minute job.
