I am also interested in this, my '05 2500HD has the LS pkg, cloth manual seats, I would like to upgrade to power electric seats.

Raid the junkyard. You'll need the wiring harnesses that run to the fuse box in the dash. I would think you could hook it in there.

Well I was looking on the internet for seat covers for my girlfriends Focus and came across these guys..

I see that they can add heaters and coolers, so I would think that they could add a power control as well? They have a regional contact for each part of the country, and I think they could probably answer your questions about that. My girlfriend has a catalog on the way, so if I find something out I'll post it =)

As mentioned you will need to check your local junk yard or e-bay for the seats. For wiring check under your drivers seat and see if you have a large orange and black wire. If so the orange is hot and black of course is ground. It is simply a matter of getting the seats you want and hooking them up.

Depending on the year of seats you get you may have to take the connectors from your current seat and put them into the powered seats you are trying to install. Or like in my case take all the wiring from the 05 seats and put them into the 99 seats. The wiring I am referring to deals with seat belt sensors and other stuff under the seats. The overall connectors are needed to get the power into the seat.

Give me a shout if you have any furhter questions.

Have a nice day.

I have a set of 2004 Escalade seats I'm about to put into my 2003 which currently has manual seats. Any idea on the wiring harness part number? I realize that this is probably as simple as running two wires to the fuse box for those of us that don't have the harness, but if its all the same to run a factory harness as it is to make one, I'd rather do the former.
