I listened to a guys stereo in his mustang he only has one Kenwood 10" sub (cheap one) and it sounds good so I am going to go with two 10's

Im going to use 10's in mine also. I've had 12's before but they tend to have to much of the Ghetto Sound. I like the 10's and even the 8's because of the tightness of the bass.

the diff in the first and last one is the volume. 1st is .6 cu.ft. last one is .77 cu. ft. it also has legs insted of a solid mounting base. This is better as you can tune it's height easier. Downfiring subs have to be hight tuned for max performance. A shim here a 1/2" block there.

The second one doesn't really show a good enough picture to see whats goin on with it...

either one would be a good box. The last one is better designed but the first one will be easier to find subs for as the volume is larger. Find the subs you want first than get the box you need according to that subs requirements.

Your amps were not properly tuned or the subs were not high quality. With proper setup, you should not be able to tell the difference in size of subs.

Period.
