New Guy From Alaska

Hello All.

 

I'm a new member from Anchorage, Alaska. I grew up with Chevys and owned three before going over to Ford for a while. I have come back to my senses and just purchased a new 2007 Z-71. (my father will talk to me again )

Welcome. Can you say engine block heater?

I used to live in Fairbanks where -50s to -60s in the winter where not uncommon and you needed a block heater, batery blanket and oil pan heater just to get engine started. In the summer it would get into the high 90s. Anchorage, where I live now, is much more temperate with -15 being a cold day and an average of around 70 in the summer.

I Like your picture with the snowmobile, reminds me of when we used to get enough snow to actually ride them. Looks like fun.
