Was that a direct fit, or did he have to cut and hack the door to fit them?

6.5 front and rear. However you will need to get speaker adapters. The front adapters are diff. from the rear adapters. I installed 6.5 components front and back myself and ran into the same problem. GL

But Remember to use dynamat or speaker baffles (crutchfield.com). If you do not you may be sorry; depending on your speakers and how much you care about audible road noise. Hope this helps :fume:

I appreciate the info....did you buy your adapter from crutchfield? Any advise on an easy way to remove the door panels?

Yes I got them from crutchfield. As far as the removing the door panels; if you buy the adapters from them they usually send full detailed instructions w/pictures and even the speakers' wirinig harness at no extra charge. You may want to order over the phone just to make sure though. They are priced @ 14.99 a set. Hope this helps.

Can anyone comment on speaker depth, front door location?

I'm hoping to fit either my Focal Utopias or Dynaudio 6.5 Midbass speakers there. Or if deep enough, maybe something even better.

Thank you in advance.

Am resurrecting an old thread. I can't find these adapters anywhere, and found This Thread that sais you don't need adapters.

Is there some more recent knowledge on this? I have a 2007 Crew Cab 1500.

Thanks
