Memory Seats Acting Up With Key

I have the key fob that is set to activate memory preset 1. Sometimes when I get in the truck, the preset completely acts up, and the seats move all the way forward. Any suggestions on what could cause this? It is irratating?

Call your dealer and tell him what it is doing. GM released a flash that fixes this problem about 3 years ago. Mine used to do it and the flash fixed it.

My memory seats don't work with the FOBs but very randomly when I push the #1 or #2 memory buttons on the door my seat will move all the way forward or all the way back. Not sure what's causing it but of course it will never do it for the dealership.

 

Haven't been able to track down a solution, if you find something I'm interested in a fix for this too.

So do they charge for these reflashes or is just something that they do?
