Just to add, the OEM's are P-rated tires and not LT. If you tow anything, you are supposed to de-rate P-rated tires by at least 10% of their load rating.

Is that the only tires they would have came with? Is there any way they would have been equiped with General tires at all?

American Generals came on the 2wd Silverados. If that was the tire that came on the Denali, I would've switched them out before accepting delivery as they are the worst tires I've ever had. GM is cheap but not that cheap to put those on the Denali.
