Will This Be A Problem

While changing my frt differential oil , the little plastic tip on the gear oil bottle fell into the diff fill hole.

I tried but could not get it out. Im hoping that it will just get chewed up and not be a problem. So far all seems to work ok.

any idea's

You can always try and drain it back into a clean container and see if it will come out and then reuse the oil.

Look at the bright side, you don't use your front very much.

I think the axles always turn now because of the engage-on-the-fly. not sure where it engages though, either in the front diff. or the transfer case, so pretty sure something is always turning in there.

Well, Scott, with all due respect and not trying to insult you. But after reading some of the posts by you here, maybe it's time for you to let someone else do your auto maintenance. Truly I'm not trying to hurt any sensibilities just thought it might be better for you.

I wouldnt worry too much, I was at a jeep outing once and saw a friend drain the diff fluid into a zip lock bag, (we had no pan or funell) removed the cover and fixed the problem. then he put the zip lock bag back into the case (the acctuall bag full of fluid) and closed it up. It ran fine through the event, and the next 50,000 miles.
