Well I'm trying not to bring burb to shop to save some money. I want to replace my ps P/S pump. The first challenge is getting the pulley off. I see there is a pulley retainer bolt. Any trick is holding pulley still to break torque on the bolt? After that, I can see the mount bolts.. Tips welcome!!!

No need to respond. After removing shroud i got a better look. I saw it wasn't a nut after all. I just assumed that the pressed on pulley had a back up nut just in case...

As I was attaching pulley puller, I notices the pulley moved fwd a bit. I then notice that the shaft was actually not held in anymore. I guess I that would explain sudden loss of pressure in system.

now while i was swapping over the parts from the old to the new, I came across another problem. I couldn't get the variable steering valve off. The hex sides are so low profile, I couldn't get a good grip on it. I'll probabaly just buy another to install on new pump.
