Howdy ya'll it's been awhile. just wanted to pop in and say hi. i know i dissapeared for nearly 6 months but i've been crazy busy with work and thousands of other things. but the modding hasn't stopped in the off time. i just recently redid my exhaust to a magnaflow side exit, i installed an FLT level 4 tranny and a PI Vig 3200RPM 9.5" Converter, Had my tune redone by charlie wheatley (i know i sung praises of MTI but when the truck got the converter and the tranny they messed up my tune BAD and charlie straightened it out and it is miles better) i also have a set of 4.10's a Detroit tru-Trac and Moser axles going in in a few weeks along with a setter of Pacestter long tubes and an ORY pipe. and the piece de resistance, i will be installing a custom set of CNC'd and milled Edelbrock heads by WCCH and a custom grind cam. they will bump my compression to somewhere in the neighborhood of of 11.2:1. along with the heads will be an SSR intake manifold with a 90mm LS2 throttle body.

So like i said the modding hasn't stopped and i hope to be more active over here as i have dissapeared.

So like i said, glad to be back.

I thought you went to jail for beating up senior citizens...good to see you back!!

I'd opt for Thorley tri Y's, but plenty of people run pacesetters with out a complaint as you prolly know. My modding has been really slow, and it might get slower as I'm moving out in a few weeks, but I'll be raking in more money so it should even out. Latest thing has been DJM 2'' drop shackles. I'm trying to decide: Thorley's, Zippy or Trans Go shift kit/servo/stall, cam and head work topped off with a 93oct dyno tune -OR- just save 4 grand for a Radix kit, along with a shift kit and dyno tune. If I could just hurry up and pay the truck off I'd take a 5k loan and buy the blower and be done with it.

Besides the truck modding ordeal, I almost sold the truck for a 06-07 Cobalt SS/super charged. Good gas mileage, 14.4's stock...but their not a very manly ride. I think I'm staying with the truck.

d**n jeremy you still havent gotten another GM??? :)

I'm putting too much money keeping that Mirage alive. It appears that it don't like my driving style too much and it's letting me know it.

But I'll be back in a GM before you know it!
