Computer Programming

I got my reprogrammed spare computer back from Jesse Bubb last week. Started right up okay, felt some additional power but a mile up the road the ABS light and brake warning light came on. The speedometer also seemed off. Yesterday I took it on a trip of about 100 miles, some on the interstate. In a 10 mile stretch the odometer only logged 8.3 miles. This does have some benefits as it does not log so many miles on your odometer. I have the 4.10 gears in my 2003 2500HD so he must have programmed a different gear ratio. I can't seem to figure out what he might have programmed, can anyone else?. Is there any danger in running it this way? I will be using it for pulling at four local fairs and it seems to have the power that I need to whip the hemi's so I don't want to send it back now. At the end of the pulling season I can just put the stock computer back in. Any advice?

If everything is stock, that shouldn't be an issue. But it still sounds like it was programmed for the incorrect tires/gears, etc. But you'd better give him a call right away. And you will likely need to send it back so he can fix it.

But if the ABS light is on (which normally means ABS isn't going to work), I'd get that fixed ASAP.

The ABS light does not come on till it goes about a mile and a half, it should be a problem in the reprogrammed computer. I've got the power I need for the pulls so I will keep it in for now. I still have the stock computer to put back in. I only run it on the weekends. I wonder if someone could figure out what gears he programmed it for, the key being it put 8.3 miles on in ten miles on the interstate. Don't really have enough time to send it back and take the chance of it being worse next time. This is the third year in a row I have used different pickups and three different programmers. The firs time I get it back it has not been set up right, that is why I tried wait4me, also him being the cheapest.
