It's my first foreign car, but it's the nicest and roomiest one on the market and being 6'8" I can fit and drive very comfortably. We spent months searching for the exact one we wanted, which ended up being a 2005 altima 3.5 SL silver metallic with black leather/loaded with 5-speed AT. Had about 40K miles mint condition, lease return. My rule if we got it was going to be the 250hp VQ(3.5L v6). :wtf: This car is almost scary fast, 0-60 is a 6 second flat...

I can't tell you how happy I am to finally get this thing it's really that nice of a car! The camry and accord can go fly a kite :)

Zach, we have several guys driving Altima's as company cars although they are 4 bangers. They have been great cars so far with no issues that I know of.

Hey, look to see if was made in MS or TN. If it is a MS car, I live about 5 or 6 miles from the plant and pass it all the time.

Glad you like it.

I've never been a fan of Japanese vehicles mainly because they're very uncomfortable for me. The seats just plain suck.

Normally that has been the case, but the altima is an extremely roomy and comfortable. It's more comfy than most luxury cars I've tried, and has more leg room than a town car.

My sister had a '95 altima. Man I loved that car. Manual tranny, quick little 4 banger. I could get it up to 120 in no time. Pretty quick for an old 4 door.

My g/f has an Altima (I think it's an '05 too) and they are indeed, VERY nice cars. I've been impressed with hers.

Mike it would appear that you have a very understanding wife. If my G/F drove a Japanese car, my wife would have a coronary. :wtf:

We don't know how were going to break it to my wife's dad yet because he's a big union guy.

We've got an '03 Altima 3.5 SE. That car rules. 90k so far and has only been in the shop once for a stupid air flow sensor. Otherwise we drive the heck out if it. It still goes and goes and goes. If only it had AWD so you could harness that power...the torque steer gets old at WOT.

Enjoy your new ride!

You think torque steer is bad in that thing? Try driving a Grand Prix GXP. GM is crazy if they think that a FWD car can take the 5.3.

Huh???? The Camry and Accord are both excellent appliance automobiles. I just bought my wife a Brand new Camry. Her last car was an '02 Camry. Do I like the VQ? Yep, I have an '03 Hot Rodded Infiniti G35 Coupe. She loves the Camry; her other choice was the Lexus ES (IMO, the same car). My Truck an'06 Sierra Long Bed, Regular Cab WT.
