Hello all, newbie here from San Diego, CA. Just purchased a used 2004 Chevy Silverado ex cab 2wd, 4.8L A4, 3.73 peg legger rear w/50k on the clock for 16k out the door.. I needed a daily driver since changing jobs (use to have company truck) so i decided on another silverado.

I had a new 2001 reg cab shortbed, 5.3L 3.73 w/G80 when they came out. I had some decent bolt-ons and ran a respectable 14.4 in the 1/4. I also use to work for Chevy as a tech and a parts guy for 10 years. I never had any problems with my ol' silverado, our delivery trucks were 99-03's and they all had over 200k on the clock and even to this day, they are still going strong!!

Plans for this truck are a few bolt-ons for extra power and gas mileage, lower rear 2", buy some 17" stock aluminum Silverado wheels and that's it. This was my other ride
