Gm Parts Tonneau Cover

Can anyone give me some feedback on the tonneau cover that GM sells? I am looking at the soft roll up one, and would appreciate any feedback

Despite the fack that i am a gm accessory sales rep or ADI i actually have one of those tonneuas on my work truck.

not bad the one i had on my truck is a peice of junk because the old dude that had it before me didnt understand how to use a tonneau, but its a roll up version alot like the aftermarket loreado cover, but better, remember that gm does all the foot work for you, they find the best product that it priced well and fits on your truck for your truck. Also if you have any problems its covered by the new vehicle warranty.

actully if you got time to wait.. ...gm is coming out with a molded in plastic tonneau that will match the NBS right on and agin covered by your new vehicle warranty...but right now they want to test everything so it might be a little bit before we see it. But when it does come out it will be gm exclusive and aftermarket will not have a chance to copy.

I have a brand new unused one for sale. It's for a '99 to '06 sportside, I got the wrong one for my truck (fleetside).

Part# 12485242. $240.00 plus shipping obo.

It's good quality, adjustable for temperature (shrinkage), tongue and groove system not velcro or snaps. It has a large GMC logo embossed on it near the back.

Thanks for the offer - I need one for an 2008 Sierra Denali. I like the idea of the GM one, I understand it is a velcro style, I am just wondering how it attaches to the bed rails and if it will cause any scratching to the tops of the bed sides. Also I haul a motorcycle a lot of the time so I need something that can roll up and stay secure.
