Whatever history eventually says about GW, I don't think he'll be remembered as our "Most Eloquent" president -

Very true. Like him/don't like him, voted for him/didn't vote for him really doesn't matter. He is our leader and we will follow him.

I thought that he gave a powerfull speech.:yingyang:

As a staunch non-supporter of G-Dubya, I absolutely, 100% agree.

Just because I'm not a fan of his work, doesn't mean in anyway that I think there were any other more qualified candidates or could do a better job myself.  I support the office of the President fully, even if the man holding the position is not to my liking -

This reminds me of a family fight. Both sides may act like they hate each other, but if an outside party gets involved, lookout! Americans have been attacked and now we are pulling together like a family.

God Bless America!!

It's the big brother syndrome.

Those of you with big brothers can probably recall several thrashings from him, but when the kid from down the block tried to whip ya', big brother was always there to defend you first.

It's just a shame that it takes a tragedy for us to realize how lucky we are to live here -

            Lincoln

or

We hold these truths to be self evident . . .

              Jefferson

OR

Ask not what your country can do for you, but . . .

             Kennedy

GW doesn''t even hold a candle!!!

Or who can't remember:

"I did not have................."

Or, "I feel your pain!"

BTW,  I'm not getting what point you 2 are making anyways?

If it's that GW hasn't made a speech that will be remembered for a long time I'm afraid I disagree.

"I hear you, we all hear you, and pretty soon, the people who brought these buildings down will hear us all!"
