Sorry Tom, I think I've almost got you on the blindingly brilliant beauty of the red trucks:

Notice the reflection of the parents POS chrylsler minivan on the side

It was nice out yesterday, about 60 degrees when I left work so what choice did I have, but to wash my truck.  It was very depressing though seeing all the scratches, dents, and dingers in it from winters abuse.

What scratches?  Lookin good Jon!  Are sure its not just one of your photoshop jobs??   :(

How's the BL doing?  What are you going to do about the tow hooks and hitch receiver?  Step bars soon?

I opened my buddys tailgate that has a BL last week and the the whole bed rocked.

His tailgate is a little heavy because of his spray liner, but still..  Does your do that?

No problems w/ the bodylift at all, the bed and cab are solid.  You can grab the bed rail and yank out and it'll rock the whole truck just like it did before the bodylift.  I haven't put the tow hooks or hitch back on yet, they are on the to do list, as is buying the PIAA air dam and a HPPIII.  No problems w/ the tailgate, I have a spray on bedliner, and it still operates like it should.  Perhaps your buddys got a few screws loose

The scratches are small, it looks like some careless people have been letting there zipper rub on the bed while reaching in (not me this time, I kill people who do that).

Step bars are on the list to buy as well, just need some $$$

Maybe..  If it rocked forward any more it would probably hit the back of the cab..

I don't think the PIAA airdam will cover the frame w/out a little saws-all action..  Let us know how it works out.

Looks good Jon.

Speaking of HPP III's, (or lack of...) how has the bigger tires affected your breaking?  I was thinking Ryan had some minor problems with breaking/ABS after his 285's but before he got his HPP III.

No problems braking at all, actually the truck is a lot nicer to drive w/ the lift.  These tires are a billion times better than any I've had before, the traction is amazing, they've yet to break free in the rain under hard acceleration.

hey jon how come you cant brake free your tires in rain? i always seem to be able to in rain...P.S.  your truck looks really good. lift did wonders to the aparence, i couldnt believe the difference in look and meanness after i put mine on

I have 285 on mine and I don't have a hpp III.  I didn't notice any problems with braking or the abs, in fact, it drives a whole lot better with these tires then what it came with.  I don't plan on getting a hpp III until I get my suspension lift cause I will prolly regear the truck.    :(

I dunno, my old wranglers weren't the greatest in the rain, they were always slipping and sliding, these just stay firmly planted which is a good thing.  This morning it was really wet out and on the way to work there's a turn where I have to gun it and normally the tires just spin and the truck slides, but I gunned it today and the truck went perfectly, I kept an eye on the speedo and it didn't jump at all (aside from normal acceleration).

One thing I have noticed is cruddy mpg's on this last tank.  I don't know why.  I'm hoping it has to do w/ the fact that I've been running on the same tank for about three weeks now and just been doing short 2 mile trips each time.

You need to lay off of the gas pedal and you won't have a problem.

lose the flares you'll get close to being as red smooth as us  LOL

I was thinking about it actually, or even painting them red, but the truck just didn't look right w/o them and besides, they keep a lot of rocks from hitting the side.
