Timing

recently installed a new distributor in a 95 chevy c3500 with a 5.7 engine. One place told me it depended on the GVWR which is 11,000 lbs.

At what degree would the timing be set on an 1995 C3500 , automatic, 2WD, with a GVWR of 11,000lbs.? and what if any wires would need to be disconnected? this also has a throttle body injection.

Thank you!! Any comments on where the EST wire is located? Is this the electronic advance wire loop?

All smallblock TBI engines 88-95 call for "0" deg. engine at operating temp 195F and the EST wire unhooked.
