Sub Box

hey, anyone have plans or know of where I can buy plans to build a sub box for under the my backseat on an 2002 chevy silverado ext-cab. I wanted to fit a couple of subs under the backseat. I planned to build the box myself out of wood. Thanks!

I don't know about plans, but I bought my box that was custom formed to fit perfectly back there...Carpeted, wired, and ready to drop in for less than $150. Any local audio shop should carry them.

 

To me, it was worth paying for, cutting around that many little bumps and nooks would have taken me all weekend.

I bought the box for my Crew Cab that holds two 10's. I also ordered two Rockford shallow mount stage 3 10's and a 600w rms amp to push them..

I like that. I want to build one that has room for one 10 or 12 sub. It is cool that you have room on the other side for the jack and stuff. how did you do that chevy logo?

I just traded in an EC 02 silverado. I was using the MTX thunderform enclosure for under the rear seat. Comes with 2 MTX 10's, 4 ohm load. I think it was rated for like ~200-500 watts RMS. It is probally more costly though than what you are lookin at. I think it was around 360 from a local shop. Blends into the truck interior well though.
