Tuning For The Allison

I have an 03 2500HD w/ the 8.1L/alli combo. I am about to order a diablo for it and later buy a westers tune to load on the diablo. Anyway there seems to be alot of speed/accelaration to be gained by tuning the trans. for higher shift points, less torque management etc. Right now no custom tune or handheld tuner can cahgne anything about the allison. But I was doing some searching and seen where HPtuners and EFILive have programs you can buy to tune the allison. So why dont any tuners or handhelds offer this???? Also can anyone with these programs make a tune to load onto the diablo to tune the trans.? I dont want to buy the HPtuner or EFILive now maybe one day, but not now. Any help/input is appreciated.

Have you called Allen or Jesse? I am positive they can tune for a truck with the BB/Alli combo.
