2500 4x4 ...2000

I'm looking at getting a 2000 GMC 2500 4x4 extended...it's got 280000 kms on it....It's got a 6 litre........what should i be worried about??????

Don't know anything about the 2500s, but the 6.0 is dang near bullet proof. I haven't heard any negatives with the 2500.

 

Now is this the LD or the HD. I'm assuming the LD since you didn't specify. The 2500LD is basically the same truck as the 1500HD, and I haven't had any major problems with mine. Only problem I had and still currently have is the inablility to keep speakers from busting, but within a couple months I will fix that with a totally new audio system.

 

Also I haven't heard any problems with a MAINTAINED 4x4 system, so that shouldn't be that big a deal.

 

EDIT: If I guessed you lived in Canada, would I be correct?
